The Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee is a voluntary advisory group within the City of Charlottesville dedicated to improving bicycle and pedestrian facility design and safety for all road users. Learn about the City’s biking and walking resources, Safe Routes to School, and Bike Month.

Participate in monthly meetings to weigh in on current issues, discuss solutions, and advocate the interests of pedestrians and bicyclists in the city. If you’re interested in becoming a member, please contact the Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator, at 434-970-3723 or bikeped@charlottesville.gov.

We meet at the Neighborhood Development Services (NDS) Conference Room on the 2nd floor of City Hall. If arriving after 5pm, please use the entrance off E. Market Street.
