Smith Aquatic & Fitness Center Renovations Continue with Reopening Expected in Spring 2022
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The City of Charlottesville’s Smith Aquatic & Fitness Center renovations are still in progress and the facility will remain closed for additional maintenance in advance of a Spring 2022 reopening.
The Smith Aquatic & Fitness Center closed in May 2020 so that work on a second round of upgrades could be completed to improve the facility’s ventilation and air distribution system. During the closure, customers can utilize Crow Indoor Pool located at 1700 Rose Hill Drive. Information about the pool and hours of operation can be found at www.charlottesville.gov/parksandrec.
