Commonwealth v. Rahiem bolden

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Today, Rahiem Bolden appeared before a Judge of the Charlottesville General District Court for a preliminary hearing.
After hearing the Commonwealth’s evidence, Judge Robert H Downer Jr. granted the Commonwealth’s motion to certify one felony count of use of a machine gun, one felony count of possession of oxycodone with the intent to sell it, one felony count of possession of narcotics while in possession of a firearm, one misdemeanor count of reckless handling of a firearm and one misdemeanor count of unlawfully discharging a firearm.
These cases will be presented to a regular Grand Jury of the Charlottesville Circuit Court on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 9:30 a.m.
Please bear in mind that felony and misdemeanor warrants certified to a grand jury are not evidence of guilt and that Mr. Bolden is presumed to be innocent.
