[ARCHIVED] Louisa County Man Dead Following Homicide on South First Street

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

December 27, 2020


On December 27, 2020, at 0057 hours, the Charlottesville Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the 900 block of South First Street.  When officers arrived, they located an unresponsive male laying on the sidewalk.  

The male, identified as Jamarcus B. Washington, a 32-year-old resident of Louisa County, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Charlottesville Police Department sends condolences to the family and friends of Washington.

A reward of up to $1,000 is available through Crime Stoppers for information leading to an arrest.
