CFD Invites Public to 9/11 Memorial at Fontaine Station 10
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - In remembrance of the lives lost in the attacks on September 11, 2001, the Charlottesville Fire Department invites the public to the 9/11 Memorial at Fontaine Station 10 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11. The atrium at Fontaine Station 10 includes a large piece of 9/11 World Trade Center steel and displays artifacts from the Pentagon and the United Flight 93 crash site.
When visiting the indoor memorial, please wear a mask and physically distance yourself from others. Also, please respect the COVID-19 restrictions that prevent entry into the firehouse beyond the atrium memorial.
