[ARCHIVED] Access Arts Charlottesville/Albemarle Seeks Submissions for Online Literary Magazine

Access Arts Charlottesville/Albemarle is pleased to accept original, previously unpublished poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction pieces for our inaugural Online Literary Publication. 


CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - 
Access Arts Charlottesville/Albemarle promotes and develops opportunities for art and creative expression for people of all ages and abilities, with a focus on serving individuals with disabilities.  In accordance with that mission, we are pleased to accept original, previously unpublished poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction pieces for our inaugural Online Literary Publication. 

Poems/stories submitted must be suitable language and content for a general audience. The audience is young people as well as adults. 

“We have so many gifted writers in our community”, said Sarah Blech, Adaptive Recreation Manager, “This is a unique opportunity for individuals with disabilities to be recognized for their creativity and talent.  Family members and caregivers are also encouraged to submit”.

The deadline for submissions is November 1, 2020 at 5:00 pm.  You can access the online submission form and more information about the project at https://www.charlottesville.gov/1080/Access-Arts-Charlottesville-Albemarle 

Publication date will be announced on our website and through social media.
