Suspect Arrested in Hardy Drive Homicide Case
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Charlottesville Police Department (CPD) detectives have arrested 19-year-old Charlottesville resident, Raymaqu'a Antonio Nicholas, for the February 22, 2023 murder of 20-year-old Gordonsville resident, Nicklous Pendleton.
Nicholas is charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Nicholas was taken into custody yesterday without incident. We are thankful for the collaboration between Charlottesville detectives, The Federal Bureau of Investigations, The United States Attorney’s Office, and The Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.
