Community and Business Survey Launched in Support of Economic Development Strategic Plan
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The process to develop a new five-year Economic Development Strategic Plan for the City of Charlottesville is underway. This engagement will provide strategic direction for the City by identifying key opportunities for future growth and partnerships.
“A vibrant economy is critical to much of what we want to do as a city,” said Michael Rogers, Interim City Manager. “Developing a clear plan to guide our efforts is a key step to ensuring future opportunity for our residents, businesses and community.” Through a nationwide competitive search process, the City has contracted with Resonance Consultancy to provide consultant services in developing the plan.
As part of that process, a community and business survey has been developed to help inform the plan. We value your experience and insights as we craft a strategy for the future and invite all to take the survey. The survey can be accessed through the link here. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
The final Economic Development Strategic Plan is expected to be completed by July 2023.
