In-Person Early Voting Starts Friday, September 23rd
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - In-Person Early Voting for the November 2022 General Election begins this Friday, September 23, and runs through Saturday, November 5.
Early voting will take place in the Office of Voter Registration during regular business hours, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. There will be extended voting hours on Thursdays running until 7pm. Additionally, the Voter Registration Office will be open on two Saturdays, October 29 and November 5, from 8:30am to 5pm. The office is located at 120 7th St NE, City Hall Annex, First Floor.
Curbside voting will be available for qualified voters, such as those with disabilities and voters who are over 65. Any voter who wishes to request a mail ballot may do so by submitting a Vote by Mail application to the Voter Registration Office by Friday, October 28.
Registration for the November General Election closes Monday, October 17, 2022. All polling locations will be open from 6am to 7pm on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
