CPD Seeking Assistance Locating a Missing Adult


UPDATE 7/19/2022: The search for Mr. Harris is still ongoing. Search teams will continue to be utilized in an effort to locate Mr. Harris. Mr. Harris was reportedly last seen in the early morning hours of July 1st, 2022 in the area of Moore’s Creek. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Mr. Harris, they are encouraged to contact CPD or call Crime stoppers at 434-977-4000.Attached is a photo of Mr. Harris on June 29th, 2022 wearing a blue t-shirt and camo pants.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The Charlottesville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult, John Milton Harris III.  Mr. Harris is a 59 year old white male, 5 foot 8 inches tall with a medium build, and he suffers from several medical issues.  Mr. Harris has not been seen for approximately two weeks.


The Charlottesville Police Department is utilizing search teams this week in an effort to locate Mr. Harris.  If you have any information on his whereabouts, please notify CPD at 434-970-3280 or call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
