Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Locations

The U.S. Department of Energy maintains an updated map of EV charging stations located around the United States and Canada. The City of Charlottesville supports the development of a publicly accessible EV charging network. In 2023, the City updated its EV Charging Infrastructure Grant to encourage an increased number of charging locations and installed two DC Fast Chargers in the Water Street Parking Garage in 2020.
