Tree Walk – Charlottesville Downtown Mall
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Charlottesville Division of Parks and Recreation invites the public to an educational walk/discussion focusing on upcoming tree maintenance on the Downtown Mall trees. Discussion will focus on the overall health of the Downtown Mall Trees as well as observation of select trees that will endure pruning and advanced assessment.
Educational Walk/Discussion Meeting Details:
Time: Oct 30, 2023 – 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
Location: 501 E. Main Meet at Parks and Recreation Administration Building (Downtown Mall, next to the Parking Garage)
Future tree maintenance will include structural pruning and removal of dead branches. Timing of tree work will likely occur in late winter to early spring 2024.
