May is National Bike Month, sponsored by the League of American Bicyclists and celebrated in communities from coast to coast. Established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to giving biking a try.
While in-person events are limited this May, we encourage you to walk, bike, and roll on your own to celebrate Bike Month 2021. Staying active (while practicing social distancing) can improve energy levels, keep our body healthy, and reduce stress - essential in times like these.
Walking, running, and biking outside is safest in uncrowded areas. Keep at least 6’ of distance (10-20’ recommended) from others!
