The City of Charlottesville Home to Hope program is located at 100 5th St. NE (inside the Downtown Job Center). Home to Hope serves clients using authentic, lived experience to impact and inspire "time-served" individuals by introducing resources, providing peer support, and advocating for fairness, thereby advancing our community. Our friendly staff will offer customized services to meet your specific needs. Assistance is available, free of charge, to anyone who visits. For more information, please email Home to Hope or call 434-970-3601.
Home to Hope is open every weekday from 9 am to 5 pm. We are also closed occasionally for staff meetings, training, and other workforce obligations. For an up-to-date calendar of hours that is updated every Monday and as otherwise needed, please refer our calendar.
You can fill out our Intake Form and a representative from Home to Hope will be in contact with you. Please note that in order to receive services, you will need to complete an intake form with one of our staff. This simple form is a way of signing in and providing staff with some needed information about you and the type of assistance you need. Due to the time needed to complete an intake form and for staff to assist you, please allow a minimum of 30 minutes for your visit. Because of this, no intakes will be started within 30 minutes of the close of business.
