We have experienced technical difficulties with our Community Resource Hotline telephone system. We are working with the provider to correct the problems, but currently we are not able to make or receive calls or retrieve voicemails from 434-326-0950. We have set up a temporary number 833-524-2904 that will be available 9-5, Monday-Friday, starting on Monday October 25, 2021. Our Spanish line is still operational at 434-373-0930. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to correct this situation.
The Community Resource Helpline is designed to provide financial, career, and material supports to families in need. The Helpline recently completed it’s expanded function to respond to the impact of COVID-19 on our community members. The Community Foundation, Cville Community Cares, United Way of Greater Charlottesville, City of Charlottesville and County of Albemarle formed a partnership to disburse funds to help households experiencing hardship due to COVID-19 and its impacts. Over four million dollars were allocated to 5,000 households.
The Pathways Community Resource Helpline is experiencing a very high call volume and it may take several weeks for a call to be returned. Calls are returned in the order received. We ask that callers leave one message because leaving multiple messages slows the ability to return calls.
