A message to our citizens -

Welcome to our website. There is plenty of useful information for our residents, business owners and visitors.

We are committed to providing high quality customer services, from internationally recognized police and fire departments, to quality neighborhood services, to an abundance of educational and recreational opportunities for our children. Our City is fortunate to have people who care, and programs that work.

We also have many unique and diverse neighborhoods that enhance the overall character of our community and make it a special place to live, work, and play. This winning combination is the key to maintaining the high quality of life that has become synonymous with Charlottesville.

I encourage you to contact me, or any of the City Manager’s staff to help you with any questions, or comments you might have.
